Bidding for CSP plant in Chile is delayed
By CSP World on 22 July, 2013 - 09:15

Chile's Energy Ministry has announced a delay in the bidding process for the CSP plant promoted by Chile's government.

Deadline for submission of proposals has been extended until October, 22, two months after the previous schedule.

The decision, announced in the CSP Today Latam summit, has been taken due to requests from applicants that claim to face difficulties regarding the permits for installing the electricity lines to evacuate the energy produced in the plant.

As reported by CSP World, the tender was launched last February to build a 10 MW-minimum CSP plant.
