General comments:

The plant was developed by Tessera Solar and its technology partner Stirling Energy Systems (SES).

The plant was comprised by 60 SunCatcher dishes developed by SES with an output power of 25 kW each.

This was the starting point to deploy large-scale parabolic dishes plants which later failed to be financed (Calico and Imperial Valley projects).

Tessera made an arrangement with utility Salt River Project to lease the land from SRP and this would purchase the electricity.

On September 29, 2011 SES filed for bankruptcy.

The plant was later auctioned and decommissioned.
