LFR based direct steam generating solar collector system
KGDS Renewable Energy has built a solar thermal research centre in Coimbatore with 1400 m2 of collection area.
This solar thermal system has been used to generate saturated steam up to 45 bar, 257o C directly from room temperature water.
This system has also produced direct super heated steam at 33 bar with 30o C of superheat.
